With the weather the last couple of days, it probably hasyou thinking about the possibility of flooding.  All of this rain can quickly overpower storm drains and leadto flash flooding, especially in Connecticut.  If your home suffers from easy or regular flooding, makesure you are covered with a CT homeowners insurance policy that includes food coverage.

-Don’t go through flowing water: Drowning is the number one causeof flood deaths.  Flash flood waters move at very fast speeds and can rollboulders and sweep away cars.  Stayaway!

-Don’t drive through a flooded area:  More people drown in their cars than anywhere else.  Just2 feet of moving water can take away a car.  Don’t chance it!
