Our list of the best summer activities are safe, healthy, and tons of fun for you to enjoy with friends or family.
See a Movie at the Drive-in
One of the best summer activities out there is to see a movie at the drive-ins. New England is known for having some pretty unstable weather, so this is the best time of the year for you to catch a movie at the drive-in! Conveniently enough for us, we have one located right in Mansfield, at the Mansfield Drive-In Theatre. Check them out online to see what movies are playing and when their showtimes are.
Six Flags New England
Yes, this time of the year is perfect for amusement parks, so our next activity on our list of best summer activities is to hit up Six Flags New England! Six Flags has the best roller coasters in the New England area, and tons of activities for you to enjoy even if you’re not a fan of roller coasters. You can visit some of your favorite DC Comics characters, or even some of your favorite childhood memories in the Looney Tunes section of the park.
Mini Golfing
If there’s a day that’s not too hot on the forecast, mini golf is the perfect activity to check out with friends or family. Sonny’s Place is a great local spot if you’re looking to stay close to home. Additionally, they don’t only just do mini golf here. They also serve food, host virtual reality, laser tag, go karts, mini bowling, rock wall climbing, and more! Located right in Somers, CT, it’s no wonder this is close to the top of our list of best summer activities.
