If you’ve ever called in to our insurance agency with questions regarding FedEx Ground ISP or CSP insurance, you may have talked to our licensed insurance agent, Keisha. Keisha works with our entire team to provide insurance products to our FedEx and ISP clients. Keisha is a claims facilitator in the FedEx department here at Paradiso Insurance and makes sure everyone has a pleasant experience in the unfortunate event of a claim.
We wanted to see what Keisha was like outside of the work environment, so we sat down with her and asked her a few questions to get to know her a little better.
What is your favorite quote?
My favorite quote is: “Forget regret, or life is yours to miss,” from the movie Rent.
Who is Keisha outside of Paradiso Insurance?
Outside of Paradiso Insurance, I’m a human being who just wants everyone to get along and be happy.
What do you like to do with your free time in the evenings and/or on weekends?
When I have free time, I like to spend it with my fiancé, friends and family. I enjoy relaxing at home, or going out with others.
What are your favorite hobbies and/or past times?
One of my biggest hobbies is listening to music. I love a good beat and sing for fun whenever I can.
What is your most recent vacation spot, and any activities you enjoyed while away?
I recently went to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. I went on a boat cruise with my fiancé and four of our closest friends. We jumped off of the boat into a natural pool in the middle of the ocean. It was an amazing experience!
Can you tell me a little bit about your family/home life? Pets? Kids? Etc.
Right now, it’s just my fiancé Torrian and I at home. We just bought our first home at the beginning of this year. We don’t have any kids or pets yet, but we are getting married in November of 2019. I’m very excited for that!
How has life for you changed since you started coming to Paradiso Insurance?
Well, first and foremost, I now work much closer to home. Prior to my current position, I was driving an hour to and from work every day. I love having more time in the morning to get ready and having more time in the evening to cook dinner sooner.
What are your skills, and what can you help our customers with when they stop in?
I can help our customers with a lot if they call or stop in. Right after I graduated college, I went into insurance claims. At my first insurance job, I started off in the claims customer care unit and worked towards being an auto adjuster. Claims can be stressful for clients, and some insurance claims have many aspects and can get complicated. Ultimately, my goal is to be that person our customers can call or come see in the unfortunate event of a claim. It’s my job to explain what’s going to happen and assure them that they will be taken care of here at Paradiso Insurance. I work hard to resolve any issues along the way.
Is there anything else specifically that you’d like to include?
My very first job was at an insurance agency with my mother. She still works at that insurance agency to this day and thanks to her, I never left insurance! My fiancé also works in insurance. He’s a small business underwriter, so we are keeping insurance in the family!
