Our insurance agency is proud to be a part of the community in the little town of Stafford Springs, CT. In fact, that’s why we make it our mission to support various events and causes around town.
Partner Promotions
What is a partner promotion? Well, small businesses that have a commercial insurance policy with us also get to receive a free marketing promotion from our marketing team. This consists of a blog write up, social media shout-outs on our networks, and a video. All free of charge.

We’re a small, locally owned business, therefore, we want to motivate others to shop small and shop local. By promoting our partners these smaller businesses can gain a larger audience!
Easter Egg Hunt
We worked with our local firefighters to stuff plastic eggs full of candy last month, and of course, we also received major support from our partners, community members, and local businesses. Hundreds of people showed up to our wonderful town event and children collected thousands of eggs in a matter of seconds.
It was a great event and we can’t wait to do it bigger next year!
Bikes for Reading
Bikes for Reading, if you’re not familiar, is a program we’ve participating in with our local elementary school in Stafford Springs for a few years now. Grades 2 to 5 are given special sheets from their reading teachers to fill out. Students who read 70 hours or more are then entered into a raffle to win a free bike. One student is selected from each grade’s raffle and we meet in the cafeteria during lunch time to hand out the bikes during the months of March, April, and May.
It’s a great way to motivate and reward children to read more.
This year we went a bit bigger though! We were able to hand out more bicycles and gave the winners their own book to read. Even better, Plymouth Rock Assurance teamed up with us to help deliver and buy the bikes.
We also teamed together with Safeco Insurance to deliver boxes of new ukuleles to the music department. Our insurance agency believes children our the core of our community and we hope this program will motivate them to become well rounded scholars in the future.
Flag Day
Flag Day is an annual event our insurance agency hosts to bring the town together, spread patriotism, and give thanks to our local veterans and to those currently serving.
All are welcome to join us as this is a free event. We’ll be cooking up some hot dogs and hamburgers, and of course, there will be live music from Radio 98.3. Plus, there will be face painting and a coloring station for the kids to enjoy.
During Flag Day we also hand out free t-shirts and replacement American flags. Our Flag Day celebration will be held June 14th, 2017 from 11:30AM-2:00PM, so if you get the chance, stop on by!
Local Causes
Another thing we like to do is give back to local causes through donations or just simply getting the word out through our social media networks. We recently gave back to our local Garden Club. Our Garden Club helps with landscaping our parks and downtown center. In fact, they plant a variety of shrubs, trees, flowers, and help decorate our town for seasonal events.
We even spread the word about the upcoming Mother-Son Dance, hosted by Cub Scout 50. The dance is May 13, 2017, 6PM-7:30PM for children and their mothers. So, if you’d like to attend this event, don’t forget to pre-register!
