Our Bikes for Reading Program

Started in 2016, every year, our insurance agency visits the Stafford Elementary School to give out bikes to our young scholars in the community.

Students simply aren’t handed these bikes though, they have to work for them! During the months of March, April, May, and June, students from grades 2-5 are encouraged to read 70+ hours of reading. Once they meet this requirement, their reading teachers give them a brand new book, and put their names in a raffle.

We then announce the raffle winners during their lunch waves, and the winners of the raffle get to go home with a brand new bike. It’s a great way for us to give back, encourage reading, and reward hard workers.
