If you’ve stopped into our insurance agency or called for a free quote, you may have been assisted with one of our insurance specialists, Darlene. Darlene assists customers online, over the phone, and in person with their insurance needs. She’s a major part of making sure our office runs efficiently and she has been here for some time. That’s why we asked her a few questions, to get to know her even better.
Who is Darlene outside of Paradiso Insurance?
Outside of Paradiso Insurance I’m a loving mother and a wife. I have a baby girl on the way, she’s due in June. I’m also very family oriented and spend a lot of time with my family.
What do you like to do with your free time in the evenings and/or on weekends?
I just bought my first home in May and I love to spend my free time at home. I’m a homebody and really love to be with my family. My time is prioritized for them.
What are your favorite hobbies and/or past times?
I really love to get together with old friends and visit people I haven’t seen in awhile. We like to relax, catch up, and play games.
What was your most recent vacation spot, and any activities you enjoyed while away?
I took a small vacation to Provincetown in Cape Cod last summer. I enjoyed the beach and saw a great deal of the night life there. It’s a great place to visit if you’re at the Cape.
Can you tell me a little bit about your family/home life? Pets? Kids? Etc.
I have a dog named Willow, she’s actually a hound mix and is very shy, but a bit crazy. She’s very friendly with everyone though. She’s obsessed with me and waits for me to come home.
As far as kids, I currently have a 5 year old nephew who lives with me, and my baby on on the way. Katie, my wife will be 21 weeks tomorrow.
How has life for you changed since you started working for Paradiso Insurance?
I actually like going to work now. I can wake up knowing the work I’m doing is valuable and that I’m important part of the team here.
What are your some of you skills here and what can you help our customers with when they stop in?
As a licensed insurance agent, I assist customers who come in with their insurance needs. I help to find them a better price than what they’re paying now on their current policy plans. Additionally, I also can provide insurance advice to anyone who may have questions regarding their policy. I also go out of my way to make sure our clients are covered correctly and aren’t paying for coverage they may not need. I can also help our customers with any type of service needs when they stop in or call our agency.
