Jonathan Gionfriddo, a 16 year old resident of Stafford Springs, Connecticut needs your help. Jonathan was born with Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare disease that causes the skin to blister. This young man’s case is severe, which also causes blistering inside the body. Children with EB are called “butterfly children” because their skin is as fragile as butterfly wings.

Jonathan’s disorder calls for constant trips to the doctor and endless medical bills. His mother, Brenda, not only cares for him but also her two other children as a single mother. Jonathan’s condition is painful and EB gives a life expectancy of about 20 to 30 years.

We would like to continue the support for Jonathan with butterflies. Stop by our office during regular business hours (we are also open Saturdays 9:00-1:00) to donate your chosen amount and display your 3D paper butterfly for him in our office window. Our goal is to fill the entire window with butterflies in continuing support of Jonathan. All donations will be given directly to Jonathan and his family to make life a little bit easier as they face this disease daily.
