Halloween has always marked a special occasion for so many children. Dressing up, going out and collecting candy, showing off costumes…so magical and full of fun.
This year, we are attempting to bring the magic to the children at the Children’s Medical Center.
Since most of the terminally ill children are not mobile and unable to leave their hospital rooms to celebrate, we are preparing to bring Halloween to them with “Reverse Trick-or-Treating!”
From now until the 15th of October, Paradiso Insurance will be putting together hundreds of goody bags to bring and deliver to the children at the hospital for Halloween. Items in the bags will include silly bands, activity books, play dough, bubbles, pencils, erasers, stickers, etc. (candy not allowed due to allergies).
The community has always been behind us and so supportive of our efforts and we are hoping for the same support again. We could not do this without you!
We understand, now more than ever, the economic difficulties most face at this current time. We are looking for any donation, whether it is the items above, or in the form of gift cards, money, etc. Anything and everything helps!
