If you’ve called our insurance agency recently you may have been happily greeted by Tamara Pinney. She joined our team not too long ago and has been a valuable asset ever since. Tamara is responsible for assisting our clients who call or stop in and ensures they receive the answers they need. Tamara works directly with our agents and carriers to find a solution to any problem.

However, we wanted to know Tamara outside of the insurance agency. So, we sat her down and asked her a few questions:

Who is Tamara outside of Paradiso Insurance?

Outside of Paradiso Insurance I’m very family oriented. I spend a lot of time hanging out with my parents. I really love to play Uno with my dad.

What do you like to do with your free time in the evenings and/or on weekends?

During my free time I love to read a good book. I also really love to dance. Going out dancing is a lot of fun to me.

What is your favorite quote?

My favorite quote goes, “the only stupid question is the one you don’t ask.” My 5th grade teacher, Mr. Sullivan, told me that.

What is your biggest fear?

My biggest fear is failure.

What was your most recent vacation spot, and any activities you enjoyed while away?

My most recent vacation was in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. It was amazing and a lot of fun. My favorite thing there was when I drove a dune buggy through a farmland on the island, from there we found a freshwater cave and I was able to dive into it.

Can you tell me a little bit about your family/home life? Pets? Kids? Etc.

Currently, I have two cats; Zoey my male cat, and Lola my female munchkin cat.

How has life for you changed since you started working for Paradiso Insurance?

My life is much better. Honestly, this is the best job I’ve ever had and I enjoy helping our clients. I love helping people and I enjoy how it’s always so busy!

What are your skills and what can you help our customers with when they stop in?

Well, I’m a very effective communicator, so when I answer the phone or talk to a client I make sure they understand everything. I’m also good at listening to any problems a client may have, and go out of my way to find a solution. I can’t legally provide insurance services to our customers, but I sure can guide them to where they need to be.
