Looking for fun Connecticut event to do with the family? Lyman Orchards is having their annual Sunflower Maze! Sunflowers, a fun maze and great time with my family. Best part is… part of the proceeds go to a great cause! $1 of each admission is donated to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center!
I recently visited Lyman Orchards with my family. Immediately we are all taken back by the beautiful view. We were looking at 350,000 blooming red and yellow sunflowers!
Upon entering the maze you are given fun trivia sheets. These fun questions will help you get through the maze. At each post there are question for each trivia topic you have chosen. There are 10 questions to answer to get through the maze. What a great way to play a trivia game with the family!
Answer the questions right and you are heading the right way. Answer them wrong and you could get lost in the maze. I must say…you are going to get lost anywhere…this beautiful place is a great place to do it.
We made it through the maze safe and sound and enjoyed every moment! While at Lyman Orchards you can also pick fresh blueberries and peaches! Before heading out, I suggest you head over to the Apple Barn. Here you can purchase delicious baked goods, jams, fresh vegetables and a delicious lunch which you can enjoy on their scenic patio.
You can attend this great event till August 24th at Lyman Orchards in Middlefield Connecticut. It is $10 for adults and $5 for children and a portion of that admission goes to the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
