It looks like we have weathered another winter storm in the great nutmeg state.  Upwards of almost three feet in the eastern corner of the state were recorded, with winds well into the 50mph range- that’s hurricane-esque stuff folks.

Now luckily, it was pretty darn cold which made the snow fluffy and light, meaning that it was heavy and weighing down power lines.  So while it looks like we dodged a major Mother Nature bullet, we’re not entirely out of the woods yet.

So why is that?  Well first of all, while the main roads are pretty much fine, the side roads are still VERY slick and messy, so please be careful when driving around today and even into tomorrow.  I know you certainly don’t want to have a CT auto insurance claim on your hands right after you thought you were out of the woods and avoided a CT home claim.

Furthermore, it looks like the white stuff is heading our way on Friday and into Saturday, so prepare yourself again!
