We often talk about the most reliable cars on the road every year, and then usually follow that up with the cars that are stolen most every year.  Now the reason why we discuss these topics is to educated and elaborate on the different factors that go into CT auto insurance coverage.

The same holds true for motorcycles.  Now while these all are relatively unsafe when compared to cars, trucks, and SUVs, some are more vulnerable to theft then others, as shown in a new study released this week.  The good news is that motorcycles stolen in 2012 actually dropped 1 percent from 2011.  But that still means that roughly 45,000 were snatched from their owners on the streets.

Of those brands that were most often stolen, Honda bikes took the top prize, followed by Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and the grand-daddy of them all, Harley-Davidson.  The best news for motorcycle owners is that of those bikes stolen last year, almost 40% of them were recovered and returned to their owners.
